Diagnosis & Treatment

Our experts work closely with the clinicians to provide contact lenses for corneal disease specific conditions and also for vision enhancement, spectacle freedom and cosmesis.

Conditions We Treat

The clinic specializes in providing regular contact lenses for daily wear, extended wear soft disposable lenses, conventional lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, paediatric contact lenses, prosthetic contact lenses, and bandage contact lenses. These help in correcting myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism.

Ortho-Keratology is currently only available for correcting short-sightedness (myopia) and is an ideal solution for people who;

  • Have low to moderate levels of myopia (-0.75 to -5.00) and with only small amounts of astigmatism.
  • Children with progressive myopia who would like to stop their short-sightedness getting worse.
  • Want the ability to have clear and comfortable vision all day.
  • Find that glasses or contact lenses aren’t suitable \ comfortable for the activities they undertake during the day.
  • Have considered refractive surgery, but are worried about the risks or complications.

Are designed for patients who have corneal conditions or other eye issues for which conventional contacts aren’t suitable.The quality and quantity of the vision improve drastically with the help of the speciality contact lenses.

Since regular contact lenses sit directly on the surface of the eyes covering the cornea, it is imperative that they fit correctly and comfortably. Unfortunately, since not everyone has a perfectly-shaped cornea, regular contacts won’t fit everyone. Some people also suffer from eye conditions, such as dry eye, which can make wearing conventional contact lenses difficult.

We offer colored Contact Lenses for cosmesis as well as for conditions like corneal opacity, traumatic mydriasis.
