Dr. Shalini Singh is a Senior Consultant of Vitreoretinal services at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi since 2011. She has an enriching career spanning more than 14 years. She is also in-charge of the Hospital’s Infection Control committee.

Dr. Singh is a prolific surgeon and specializes in medical and surgical management of vitreoretina diseases including Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment, Age related Macular Degeneration, Vasular Occlusions, Epi-retinal Membranes, Macular Hole, Ocular Trauma and Endophthlamitis with a passion for prevention and management of Retinopathy Of Prematurity . She is actively involved in training of residents and fellows. She is Principal and Co-investigator in many multi-centric clinical trials.

Dr. Singh completed her M.B.B.S from Government Medical College in Nagpur. She further, pursued her M.S.- from SETH G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai. She earned her Retina Fellowship from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai.

Her work experience also includes practicing as Chief Resident at KGMC (King George’s Medical College), Lucknow. She is also Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai.

Dr. Singh has published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals, in addition to attending various conferences as invited faculty. She has Co-authored for a chapter in book on Glaucoma Drainage Devices – a practical illustrated guide. She is also life-time member of various organizations including VRSI, AIOS, DOS, UPSOS.
