Dr. Tanya Jain

Dr. Tanya Jain is a practicing consultant specializing in Vitreoretina, Uveitis, and ROP. Her journey began with an under-graduation at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, followed by post-graduation at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot, MP. She then completed her comprehensive surgical fellowship in Vitreoretina at Dr. Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi. She has honed her skills at the prestigious Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, USA, with a focus on treatment of uveitis and emerging latest treatment in the field of retina and uveitis. She is also a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology, London.

A passionate clinician and surgeon, Dr. Jain’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of medical and surgical retina care, uveitis management, and ROP treatment. Her dedication extends to the forefront of research, where she has authored over 30 publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and presented her findings at both national and international conferences. She has also participated in various clinical trials during her research career. Her special interests include domains of non-infectious uveitis and diabetic retinopathy. She is deeply committed to the training of fellows and residents. She is also a life-time member of AAO, IOIS, MRCS (Edinburgh), VRSI, AIOS, DOS, and MPSOS.
