Dr Suma Ganesh is presently Director, Paediatric Services and Chairperson of Pediatric centre of excellence at Dr Shroff’s Charity Eye hospital, Delhi. She did her fellowship in Paediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus at Manhattan Eye and Ear hospital in 2001 through Marsh Carter Fellowship grant by ORBIS International. She was awarded DR S.D. Athavale award for the best paper in squint at AIOS meeting in 2003. In 2012 she received the prestigious ACOIN award for her work in strabismus in the community. She has worked in many projects with ORBIS, SEVA and Perkins International. She has trained more than 50 pediatric ophthalmologists. She has presented in many national and international conferences and has 130 publications to her credit. Her passion is elimination of childhood blindness.
