Dr. Shayana is an ophthalmologist with more than 5 years of experience in her field. She is proficient in complicated cataract & glaucoma surgeries.

She was awarded MBBS by HNB Garhwal University, Uttarakhand in 2012, MS Ophthalmology from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut in 2017. She was awarded the “Certificate of Excellence” for displaying academic brilliance & for being Overall Topper in MD/MS course for the year 2017. After that she did Senior Residency at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Delhi from 2018 – 2020 where apart from her clinical duties she was also mentoring the surgical training of post graduate students. In 2020, she decided to pursue a 2year fellowship in Glaucoma at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi where she’s presently working as an adjunct consultant in Department of Glaucoma.

She’s a life member of AIOS (All India Ophthalmological Society), DOS (Delhi Ophthalmological Society) , GSI (Glaucoma Society of India) and has presented various posters , papers in many conferences & has several publications to her credit . She was also awarded the first prize in the category “Interesting case- Glaucoma” in DOS Conference 2022. She has been a wet lab trainer in DOS 2022, GSI 2022.
