Profile

Dr. Prakhar Singh is an ophthalmologist with specialized expertise in Cataract and Refractive surgery. He completed his Fellowship in IOL and Microsurgery at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi (2021–2023), after earning his M.S. in Ophthalmology from Army Hospital Research & Referral, New Delhi (2018–2021) and MBBS from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune (2006–2010).

An ex-officer of the Indian Armed Forces, Dr. Prakhar has served in counter-insurgency and high-altitude areas, and has successfully undertaken mountaineering and skiing courses, participating in multiple expeditions above 6,000 meters. His military background has imbued him with discipline, precision, and teamwork, qualities that strongly influence his medical practice.

For the past two years, he has been associated with Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi, as a Consultant. He has a special interest in managing complex cataract cases and is deeply committed to training residents and fellows. In addition, he has contributed to ophthalmic research, with several papers published in peer-reviewed journals.
