Smart Vision Glass Distribution Event

Introduction In a collaborative initiative between Rotary Club and Vision-Aid, a total of 34 visually impaired and blind individuals received Smart Vision Glasses. The beneficiaries, identified with the support of Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, came from across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. This effort reflects the shared commitment of all partners to enable, educate, and empower persons with visual impairment through assistive technology. Their benefits include: Object and obstacle detection: Helping users navigate safely in unfamiliar environments. Reading assistance: Reading printed and digital text aloud, enabling access to books, documents, and signage. Facial and product recognition: Identifying people, products, and surroundings, thus improving social interactions and daily functioning. Voice-guided controls: Hands-free operation that makes the glasses simple and practical for everyday use. By integrating these features, the Smart Vision Glasses open new possibilities for education, livelihood, and social inclusion.
