Who We Are

Diligently serving the community for more than seven decades, The Department of ENT has had a great impact on the more than a million lives that it has touched. Passionate about hearing health and deafness eradication, in addition to our paid patients, we have also adopted marginalized and underserved areas of the city and outside to deliver quality care to all those who need it.

Our services include the difficult areas of Head and Neck Cancers that require grit and commitment in the face of extreme pain and disability. Comprehensive ENT services include all areas of Ear, Nose and Throat care for all age groups.

Unique feature of the ENT department at SCEH is its location in the midst of an Eye setup making it one of the famous Eye and Ear infirmaries. This department specializes in minimally invasive transnasal endoscopic surgeries for orbit and lacrimal drainage disorders. Hence it is one of the tertiary referral centres for all these procedures. Watery eye/epiphora in children is treated using a dual endoscope system, a most advanced minimally invasive technique. The department has one of the highest series of such cases in north India and has published multiple projects in adult and children.

For the past 25 years, the department has offered a Fellowship program, training for surgical courses, and live surgical workshops.
