Established in 2002, the Secondary Centre in Alwar, accredited by NABH, was the first surgical satellite centre of the Hospital. Starting from Alwar district, the facility today caters to the neighbouring districts of Dausa, Bharatpur, and others, and is by far the only dedicated eye care hospital in the region.

This full-fledged secondary centre is well equipped to deal with all kinds of cataract cases and diagnostic facilities such as Visual Fields, Fundus Flurocein Angiography and Retinal lasers. The standard clinical services are complemented by regular visit of speciality surgeons across all specialities. The centre is supported by 5 Vision Centres spread across various points in the district.

Many prestigious collaborative projects have been successfully implemented in the past, and some continue to bring light in lives of people. On an average, the Centre sees around 70000 patients in hospital and community in a year, carries out 3500 surgeries, reaches out 35,000 children and another 30,000 adults in the community through outreach.
