As a leading centre for education in North India, SCEH attempts to bring authorities and domain experts together. With an active CMEs across the board make an active knowledge building interface for the SCEH community.

The Cornea and Refractive Errors team organized a CME on Infective Keratitis this month with the objective of sharing the latest and the best available on its diagnosis and management. Guest faculty - Dr. Savitri Sharma from LVPEI, Hyderabad also enlightened us with her experiences in the diagnosis and management of Infective Keratitis. Challenging cases from across the board were shared by faculty contributions from leading institutions like AIIMS, LVPEI, SCEH, GNEC, Venu and I-Care.

 From Microsporidia to Viral Keratitis, from lab based diagnosis to post Lasik keratitis- various novel aspects that have recently come to fore were discussed.

The CME was concluded with a panel discussion. The panel- comprising of authorities on the subject like Dr. Umang Mathur and our Guest Faculty, Dr. Savitri Sharma took questions and comments from an enthused audience. The Organizing Secretary Dr. Manisha Acharya, a leading Cornea Specialist gave the vote of thanks to the faculty and the audience for sharing their knowledge and experiences and contributing in raising the bar for the diagnosis and management of Infective Keratitis. Encouraging feedback from participants is still coming in, and the Cornea and Refractive Errors team is looking forward to organizing another thrilling CME soon.
